I love this quote from the article: Cities are not buildings, streets or energy systems, cities are about people, culture, behavior, power and politics- the very word comes from Ancient Greek πολιτικά (politiká) ‘affairs of the cities. We can’t keep using the same tools expecting different results- something has to to give.

• AI is providing a shift in thinking. it was interesting to read about how instead of fixing issues, AI will help predict and prevent them.
• AI allows for smarter decision making with data and information.
• with AI, it can also tailor things to individual stakeholders.
• It also improves city staff expertise by increasing staff capabilities for improved efficiency and accuracy.
