Design solutions for overpopulated cities

This article caught my eye – curious how one would re-design or fix an overpopulated city. Link to the article:

Reading about cities around the world and projects they completed to incorporate more sustainable features was interesting.

Created a park in the middle of the city.

A rail line converted into a connected urban spine as an elevated Park.

Creating a car free zone in the city, promoting the reduction or pollution.

Promoting bike riding – emphasis on cyclists, cycle paths and completely re-organizing roads

Increasing green areas of cities, even incorporating greenery on all balconies of a building.

Installing sidewalks to promote walkable cities.

Solar power, taking advantage of the sun to lower utility bills.
